Choosing a Waterproof Coating Supplier for Electronics Production and Export

For a production line, a protective coating is not a chemical — it is a process step with a cost per board, a takt time and a warranty impact. Before committing to volume, an industrial buyer should verify four things: how the coating behaves on the line, what a board really costs to coat, what happens when a board needs rework, and how the product ships. Here is the checklist we recommend, with the corresponding MGCoat figures.

Line speed: curing time is money

A coating that needs oven or UV curing adds equipment, energy and floor space. MGCoat's Liquid PCB Plastic Coating is applied and cured entirely at ambient temperature (15–45 °C): touch-dry in 8–10 minutes, next step after about 10 minutes, and full mechanical strength in 12 hours. Boards flow through dip, spray or brush stations with no thermal bottleneck — and heat-sensitive components are never at risk.

Real cost per board: do the coverage math

Theoretical coverage is 1000 divided by film thickness in microns, in m² per litre — about 10 m²/L at 100 µm, with 70–85% realistic transfer efficiency depending on method. Count both faces of the board. A 10 × 15 cm board coated on both sides at the standard 100 µm uses roughly 4 ml — so one litre covers hundreds of mid-size boards. Compute litres from your monthly board count, then request an official quotation; tax and freight to destination are quoted separately.

Rework and warranty economics

Scrap is the hidden cost of permanent encapsulation. MGCoat's layer is removable locally with a dedicated solvent: repair the point, re-coat, ship again — the assembly stays serviceable through its warranty life. The opaque finish adds a commercial bonus for exporters: it hides the board layout from visual copying, protecting your design in markets where that matters.

Packaging, logistics and settlement

Standard packaging covers 1–5 litre volumes; 50 and 100 litre export packaging serves production quantities. A cash-settlement program valid until the end of 2026 adds 10 litres of extra product for every 50 L ordered and 24 litres for every 100 L (instalment payment is not included). Specifications are confirmed at the time of order, and support is available in seven languages across Türkiye, Iran and worldwide.
