Build 2–4 steps with about 10 minutes between them, check for a continuous bubble-free surface, and allow 12 hours for full mechanical strength. When to choose something else

If your assembly lives in a genuinely sealed, IP-rated enclosure and never sees condensation, you may need no coating at all.
